Our Purpose

Te Omanga’s Executive Leadership Team leads the continuous improvement of Te Omanga’s specialist service and the development of palliative care in the Hutt Valley.

Responsibilities

  • To achieve the outcomes detailed in the annual business plan and the strategic plan (with collective responsibility for the implementation of both)
  • To seek approval from the Board for variations from the outcome specified in the annual business plan
  • To monitor KPIs measuring the level of achievement of outcomes specified in the annual business plan
  • To resolve conflicts arising from the implementation of the annual business plan
  • To monitor risks arising from actions needed to achieve the annual business plan
  • To monitor legislative compliance
  • To monitor external forces and events that may challenge the priority placed on an outcome specified in the annual business plan
  • To advise the Board when priorities need to change
  • To lead and model the culture and values of TOH
