Our purpose

Welcome

The Te Omanga Hospice Foundation is a registered charitable trust. It provides financial support to Te Omanga Hospice for its work helping people with a life limiting condition make the most of their remaining life and ensuring that patients die comfortably and with dignity. The hospice provides support and care for family and close friends during the patient’s illness, and in bereavement.

The Foundation is a separate registered charitable trust tasked with securing the financial future of the Te Omanga Hospice Trust.

All income is reserved to the Foundation’s endowment fund which is used to help bridge the gap between District Health Board funding and the actual cost of providing services to patients and their families.

By supporting the Te Omanga Hospice Foundation, you will make a lasting contribution to support and safeguard the continuation of our services to the people of Hutt Valley, free of charge.
