COVID-19: Important Update - 6 April
From Monday 6 April we are not allowing any visitors to our Inpatient Unit during Alert Level 4. These changes are necessary to keep our patients, families and staff safe.
Patients who are staying at our hospice may nominate one person to stay with them in their room during the day and overnight.
Our essential care and support of patients in the community will continue wherever they are – at home, our hospice, Hutt Hospital or an Aged Care Facility. However, it has been necessary to change our approach, including less physical contact and more use of the phone and video conferencing.
We are doing our best to adapt to the changing situation to ensure we respond to patient and family needs in a proactive and equitable way, and keep everyone safe
