In Memory Of and In Lieu of Flowers

In Memory Of

For many people, expressing their sympathy by making a donation in memory of someone is a thoughtful and loving tribute to someone who has died.

Te Omanga will acknowledge donations made to both the donor and the bereaved family, although the amount of your donation remains strictly confidential.

If you would like to make a donation In Memory Of someone, or simply find out more, please email us fundraising@teomanga.org.nz

In Lieu of Flowers

Sometimes we find that patients receiving our care request that a donation to Te Omanga Hospice  is made at their funeral rather than people bring flowers.  Often this can also be something a family chooses to do after their family member has died.

Your Funeral Home will be able to tell you more about how this works, and usually there is an opportunity for people attending a service to make a donation in memory of someone they love.

We’d love to talk with you more about how you can give In Lieu of Flowers, and Matthew McCracken, Fundraising Relationship Manager, would be happy to hear from you on 04 886 5205 or email fundraising@teomanga.org.nz
