Christmas is always a special time of year as we remember loved ones who have been on our programme of care.
Te Omanga is privileged to be part of Hospice New Zealand’s Trees of Remembrance in the lead up to Christmas. The national partnership with Farmers is a real strength for hospices right throughout New Zealand. Farmers customers are invited to make a donation and write a message on a remembrance card which they can place on a Christmas tree in store. Trees are in Farmers stores until Christmas Eve.
The 2021 collectible glass bauble is called ‘Togetherness’. Hospice supports people to live every moment – to spend time with those they care about, in the places they love, bringing joy and creating memories together that last forever.
Each bauble is $10 and thanks to the generous support of Farmers, the full $10 from every purchase made at Farmers Queensgate and Upper Hutt will be donated directly to Te Omanga Hospice. Farmers also passes on 100% of all customer donations to hospice from the Tree of Remembrance.
Since 2014, Te Omanga Hospice has received over $200,000 from this amazing event thanks to Farmers, Hospice New Zealand, and our generous community.
