Welcome to the place where you can learn more about Te Omanga Hospice. You’ll find information here about our history, how and why we began, our people, heritage and dreams, our property at Woburn Road and an overview of the services we deliver.
(Please note – this video features our old earthquake-prone hospice, which was replaced with our new purpose built hospice in 2019).
The Te Omanga Hospice Trust is a charitable trust registered with the Charities Commission (CC22248). You can find out more about the Patron and Trustees and the purpose of the Te Omanga Hospice Trust here
As part of Te Omanga’s governance, there is a separate charitable trust called the Te Omanga Hospice Foundation, which has a responsibility to secure the financial future of the Te Omanga Hospice Trust through an endowment fund. You can learn more about the Foundation, Patron and Trustees here
This section also introduces you to Te Omanga’s Executive Leadership team, a group of four senior staff who work together regarding hospice-wide operations, projects and organisational decisions on a daily basis, as well as our current Annual Review and Strategic Plan.
